Deacons and Elders

On February 15th, the congregation gathered at Hamilton Grove to surprise The Rev. Louis Schumm with an open house in honor of his many years of service to The Presbyterian Church of La Porte as Parish Associate and Parish Visitor. Louis was presented with baskets of cards and also a nutcracker of his beloved Chicago Cubs.  The choir also presented him with the singing of Rutter's The Lord Bless You and Keep You.   The afternoon was filled with conversations remembering the wonderful stories of Louie and this congregation.
